Position: Electronics Repair Technician (Contractor)
HOURS: on-call
Compensation: varies based on service provided. will be discussed.
Location : mobile repairs, done from own vehicle.
Requirements: must own a phone, a vehicle and must either have existing knowledge of repairs or be trained by mars.
perfect for someone who wants to make occasional money and has the open availability TO DO SO.

What You Will Do in This Role
tasks include but not limited to:
checking appointments scheduled ahead of time in order to prepare for each appointment with proper tools, parts & research.
rescheduling appointments for customers.
repairing customers devices to mars repairs standards.
upselling accessories such as phone cases, chargers, screen protectors and more.
providing warranty support of the repair.
Providing customer with proper expectations before the repair.
informing customer of warranty rights.
Properly documenting details of the repair such as device type, condition, colors, unique characteristics, things to keep in mind off and more.
Driving tasks include:
device pick-up/drop off
inventory order pick-ups
driving too and from customers repair location
95% OF DRIVING WILL BE UNION COUNTY AND ESSEX COUNTY.
What You Will Need for This Role
must be organized and a self starter.
musT SPEAK ENGLISH AND SPANISH.
must be able to speak to customer and vendors in a professional matter. must be able to communicate with precision to reach specific goals.
must enjoy helping others.
Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
Basic computer skills; understand how to use phone applications.
Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel periodically to support business needs.
MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.
WhAT YOUR DAY TO DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:
90% WILL BE DRIVING WHICH IS SCHEDULED IN ADVANCE. THIS WILL BE YOUR BASE work.
10% OF YOUR JOB WILL BE REMOTE FROM A PHONE/LAPTOP in order to prepare accordingly for all appointments.
